RECENTLY AWARDED: BAUER-PILECO’S NEW NORTH AMERICAN HEADQUARTERS
Bauer-Pileco, a global provider of foundation equipment and support to the foundation construction industry, has announced it will build a 78,774 square-foot facility in Conroe Park North for the company’s new North American headquarters. The new location, with three stories of office space, warehouse and service building space, will be designed and built by KDW. Construction at the 18.6-acre site is scheduled to begin this fall with completion estimated for the first quarter of 2018.
Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, is expanding its North American Processing Center in Brookshire by adding 324,000 square feet of production warehouse, distribution warehouse, production office and auxiliary buildings. The expansion almost doubles Goya’s existing 380,000-square-foot facility where the company produces more than 2,500 high-quality, affordable food products. The current Brookshire facility, also built by KDW, opened in 2014 where ultra-modern processing equipment, hydrostatic bean cooker and cannery operations are capable of producing more than 1,000 cans per minute. The expanded facility, with an expected completion in 2018, also will feature 21 new truck dock positions for domestic and international distribution.
KDW SELECTED AS DESIGN/BUILDER FOR AIV & GULF COAST MODIFICATION'S NEW NW HOUSTON OFFICE
AIV has selected KDW to custom design and construct their new, expansive facility in northwest Houston. AIV, LP, a Houston-based global wholesale distributor of valves and actuators for the oil and gas, power generation, chemical, petrochemical, refining, pulp and paper and water treatment industries, has announced plans for a new 320,000+ square foot facility at NW Lake Drive, near Telge Road and Highway 290. The 32-acre construction site allows for the future expansion of up to 700,000 sq ft.
The new facility will consolidate AIV and Gulf Coast Modification’s current 130,000 sq ft headquarters, a separate 28,000 sq ft modification facility focusing on mid-stream clients, and a third 22,000 sq ft building that houses AIV’s automation division. This facility will consist of two-stories of Class A office space to house the company’s sales and administrative personnel, expanded warehouse space for AIV’s extensive valve and actuation inventory, and the fabrication facility to accommodate Gulf Coast Modification. KDW anticipates breaking ground later this year, and the project is scheduled for completion by late 2018.
